Electrical Engineering responsibilitiesassociated with the test, integration, fault isolation, and other production support of Electro-Optical systems. Engineer will participate in multi-disciplined integrated product teams working closely with Integrated Product Team Leads, Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Manufacturing Engineers. Duties include the integration and test and other production support of (digital and analog) circuitry and modules; troubleshooting and resolving issues on deliverable product; verifying and validating component performance to specifications; and defining and implementing design or process improvements/changes.

Applicant is expected to have EO/IR experience, and will be maintaining and updating existing equipment and drawings for EO/IR systems and related support equipment. Applicant must be capable of working within a cross-functional team to resolve technical issues. Prior design experience is preferred as future product enhancements may require design changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Electrical Engineering background related to production of EO/IR systems
  • Familiar with design verification/testing of hardware
  • Prior exposure to circuit card design or system design is preferred
  • Ability to assist with root cause and corrective action analysis on production issues
  • Ability to isolate problem components or sub-systems within a complex EO/IR system
  • Familiar with test equipment, such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Required Education: Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, but a Masters in EE is preferred
