Role Summary:   Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a Sales/Account Manager (Wireline) to be based in Houston, TX.   Essential Responsibilities:

  • Promotes & sells wireline equipment & products to new and existing customers
  • Develops and maintains sales strategies to increase sales & profits through key accounts
  • Builds strong customer relationships
  • Focus on account management, through sales strategies, revenue planning, evaluating market opportunities and growing share
  • Ensures product line sales focus and support for key areas
  • Interface with product line and equipment sales teams
  • Engages with Commercial on bids and tenders 
  • Responsible for making presentations to customers
  • Works closely within team to secure accurate quotation of services
  • Handles special projects, as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of Wireline experience, preferably in Cased Hole operations and equipment sales
  • Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services for area of responsibility and general knowledge of products and services of other business segments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong MS Office skills

Desired Characteristics:

  •  Cased Hole wireline business acumen
  • Experience with Sondex equipment is preferential
  • Wireline Sales experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
