Research Associate - Immunohistochemistry Assays
Seeking an experienced Research Associate to perform immunohistochemical and biochemical assays to support novel drug development for neurodegenerative diseases.
*** Perform necropsy on mouse disease models to harvest tissue.
*** Homogenize or section nervous tissue for various assays.
*** Analyze tissue for target engagement and therapeutics efficacy.
*** Develop and run biochemical assays.
*** Synthesize data and author reports and publications.
*** Masters in Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar field.
*** 2+ years of experience with developing & performing histological studies utilizing biochemical assays.
*** Knowledge of Rodent Neuroanatomy.
*** Hands on knowledge of immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitations, Western Blots, ELISAs, cofocal imaging, and similar.
