    Position Overview

    Role Description:

    The Deutsche Bank Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is currently looking for a Support Engineer to work as Level3 technical expert for the Hardware Security Module (HSM) infrastructure of the bank. Located in Virginia, USA, he/she will support the team with the following tasks/expertise:

    • Support the configuration and deployment activities on HSMs Infrastructure
    • Support the integration of HSMs with client applications
    • Process design and documentation (e.g. in the form of runbooks or knowledge articles) according to regulatory and policy requirements
    • Contribute proactively to incident management, problem management, break fix activities


    Role Responsibilities:

    Essential Skills:

    • Knowledge of HSMs (nCipher HSM knowledge particularly advantageous)
    • Very good knowledge of general Cryptography topics and related standards
    • Good Knowledge of general Information Security topics
    • Knowledge of processes pertaining to IT infrastructure topics such as change management, IT application management and operations etc.
    • Knowledge of deploying hardware within an enterprise IT environment
    • Knowledge of PKI products (e.g. Microsoft PKI, OpenXPKI or others)

    Desirable Skills and Certifications:

    • Audit management experience
    • Previous experience in L3 Support roles
    • Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux systems
    • CISSP, CISM or other relevant IT Security certifications
    • Knowledge of IT management concepts such as Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
    • Experience with interacting with people across a global enterprise environment hierarchy

    Language Required:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

    Special Circumstances:

    • Availability for working at weekends required

    • Knowledge of Deutsche Bank tools and processes desirable

     Education / Qualifications Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
    • IT (Security) / Project Mangement certificates (CISSP, CISM, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) desirable
