Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started.Facebook is searching for a Global Sourcing Process & Controls Manager to support Global Sourcing Operations initiatives at Facebook. This individual will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in IT, InfoSec, Legal, Internal Audit, P2P and other Sourcing teams across Facebook to develop and implement sourcing processes, technology solutions, reporting, policies and compliance measures. This individual will bring progressive thought leadership, robust processes/technology tools/policies, training, governance, and excellent customer service to the Global Sourcing Team at large. This role requires someone who thrives in a flat, fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy and Operational Planning
  • - Understand strategic business objectives and requirements in order to facilitate operational improvement initiatives
  • - Meaningfully contribute to strategic planning/roadmap development efforts to transform the Global Sourcing organization from a tactical to a strategic operation
  • Collaborative Relationships
  • - Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company tostrategically develop, implement and optimize sourcing processes and tools that enable theStrategic Sourcing teams to scale
  • - Drive alignment around cross-functional requirements
  • Process Design and Management
  • - Understand the current processes and tools environment and execute action plans to achieve improved efficiencies, resource optimization and controls
  • - Make significant contributions to process design efforts to positively impact the Global Sourcing team and our business clients
  • - Manage process documentation and provide on-going support for implemented processes
  • Risk Mitigation and Controls
  • - Ensure appropriate financial and risk controls are in place and well communicated in adherence with financial, sourcing and procurement policies
  • - Design and manage process and policy governance plans
  • Tools/Technology
  • - Identify and implement more efficient sourcing and contracting processes, tools and technology solutions
  • - Provide leadership, management and facilitation to scope, document requirements, evaluate, test, implement and support technology solutions to streamline and automate key processes
  • - Lead make vs buy assessments and develop business cases to support recommendations
  • Training & Development
  • - Support the design and delivery of regular communications and training for new processes, tools, policies and core strategic sourcing skills
  • - Positively impact change management initiatives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.Sdegree in business, supply chain, procurement or finance
  • 7+ years of experience in the areas of sourcing/procurement operations, strategic sourcing, or sourcing process and tool design/development
  • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing operational improvements through technology, machine learning, automation and process redesign to enable standardization, compliance, scalability and velocity (e.g., eSourcing, spend analytics, contract life cycle management, supplier performance management)
  • Experience balancing multiple initiatives at once
  • Experience in process/project management
  • Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes
  • Experience with procurement systems/processes/tools
  • Experience breaking down processes and identifying pain points in order to deliver business improvements at local, regional and global levels
