Summary:  Independent file review of the bank’s loan portfolios assessing risk in various areas (with an emphasis in Oil & Gas as outlined below) related to industry, market, line of business or bank by assessing policy compliance, regulatory compliance, legal documentation, and noting credit weaknesses or technical deficiencies. 
Essential Job Duties
• Reviews portfolios for quality, compliance, accuracy in risk grade and examines collateral documentation or other potential areas of exposure,• Compile, analyze and test the data, summarize and prioritize review findings. Extensive knowledge and analysis of complex industry financials,• Prepares and participates in bank and target reviews,• Reviewer in charge of examinations (with an emphasis on the Exploration & Production and Midstream portfolios), selecting sample, preparation, review work of team members and completion/presentation of report,• Discuss findings with management; recommend improvements where appropriate to accomplish objectives,• Participates in continuous monitoring of portfolio,• Monitors industry trends in loan portfolio analysis,• Participates in due diligence team in analysis of risk of target loan portfolio,• Makes recommendations to Director of Credit Review upon identification and analysis of elevated key performance indicators, • Required to assist Federal Regulators during periodic regulatory examinations,

Minimum Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.  At least 5-10 years in banking (with a minimum of 3 years of recent direct experience in Exploration & Production and Midstream) to include Credit Review or related experience in Lending, Credit Analysis, or Regulatory Agencies. 
Must have experience in presentations to Management, creating and analyzing reports.  
Extensive working knowledge of computer programs used in financial institutions is required.
Overnight travel may be required.
