Business Analyst Manager - Marketing Corporate Intelligence
Under the general direction of the Director of Corporate Intelligence, the Business Analyst Manager - Corporate Intelligence is responsible for partnering with the lines of business to support their reporting, analytical and informational needs. Responsibilities include working directly with colleagues in the business lines to determine requirements, create approved solutions including reports, data analysis, etc and maintain ongoing support for those solutions. Additional responsibilities include working with the Corporate Intelligence infrastructure team of Business Intelligence Developers for obtaining required information needs and following the standards and procedures of the Corporate Intelligence department as a whole.
In addition to the above, the Business Analyst Manager - Corporate Intelligence will be responsible for taking ownership on partnering with their responsible business lines to strategically plan and develop business intelligence and analytical solutions. This person will act in consultative role in making recommendations and providing and presenting BI insights to help drive the business. Position may also have responsibilities for directing and managing direct reports.
The difference between a technology business analyst and the roles this manager leads, is the additional responsibility to take the analytical responsibility further to include implementation of the reporting and analysis of the data back to the business line to drive decisions.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.

Manage business line relationship at strategic level for BI and analytical needs.
Mentor, direct, and manage team of Business Analysts.
Consistently demonstrate business area subject matter expertise.
Interface with business line to determine reporting and analytical requirements for assigned work.
Develop information, reporting and analysis to business lines as defined by agreed requirements. Includes creating stored procedures in SQL, developing reports and dashboards following departmental standards and presenting information solution to business users.
Partner with Corporate Intelligence Infrastructure team to provide requirements for data models and automations to continuously improve the self service Business Intelligence approach.
Discover and communicate meaningful insights in the data and communicate with the line of business users.
Recommend and build out comprehensive reporting and analytical solutions that go beyond the tactical daily requests from end users.
Partner with business line leaders to influence and help develop business strategy.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
7-10 years Experience working in BA or BI/reporting analyst role.
10-12years Experience providing BI and analytical solutions to senior level management. Preferred
