We plan to release multiple products in the coming yearsThe Finance team provides critical decision support for new product launches around pricing, unit economics, and supply chain/logistics planning. Furthermore, the team leads the financial planning process for cost of goods sold, operating expenses and headcount.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with various product and operations teams (Sales, Business Development, Hardware, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, etc.) to provide decision support
  • Lead and manage a team of 6+ members across multiple functions (FP&A, Sustain Product P&L Planning and Ops, New Product Initiatives, Demand Planning, etc.)
  • Heavy focus on unit economics and pricing for various product launches including reviewing complex financial models for product launches that provide insight into product costs and financial risks/opportunities
  • Develop and deliver presentations to AR/VR leadership on a variety of topics
  • Oversee financial planning processes that deliver accurate forecast and budget scenarios
  • Create strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and functions across AR/VR
  • Help define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting
  • Collaborate with groups in Finance and Operations including vendor management, fixed assets, accounting, and tax
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of financial analysis experience from a Consumer Electronics company
  • Consumer Electronics/Hardware experience with 8+ years of experience managing a team across multiple Finance functions
  • Experience supporting a Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Ops organization, an S&OP process, and reporting experience with Product P&Ls
  • Experience with building financial models in Excel
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
  • Experience with accounting concepts and financial planning
  • Experience communicating concepts to executive leadership
  • Experience working and problem solving independently, to organize workload and priorities, and complete tasks on time
  • Leadership experience partnering and influencing various functional leaders across an organization
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of global retail landscape to help determine best practices for B2B and B2C distribution
  • Experience with sales planning/sales
