Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, self starting individual for our UAT management team within our Enterprise Business Operation, Technology Management team.  As a Sr. Testing Consultant, you will assist with the coordination of UAT testing across Thomson Reuters, partnering closely with UAT Leads, Manager, and 3rd party Vendors. The Sr. Testing Consultant provides specialized consulting activities to business and business system related initiatives, with a particular regard to User Acceptance Testing.  This position serves as a key role for coordinating and streamlining business testing across Thomson Reuters enterprise projects and BAU activities.


Coordinate and Lead Business testing activities for key initiatives

Facilitate UAT Strategy sessions and Test Case creation workshops with business testing leads

Responsible for the creation and distribution of project plans as they relate to User Acceptance Testing

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of appropriate test documentation including Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Requirements, and Test Cases.

Participate on Project and BAU teams; participate in all phases of approved enhancements; ensure a full, consistent understanding of enhancements by all stakeholders from a User Acceptance Testing perspective

·Proactively work with the business to troubleshoot or provide additional training for issues related to testing (i.e. tools, test case creation, etc.) throughout planning and execution phases.

·Drive the implementation of standard UAT tools and processes supporting business testing while ensuring consistency and improved quality

Manage issue tracking and bug lifecycle for the User Acceptance phase

Create metrics on defect trends discovered in various testing phases.

Track, maintain, and communicate test status

Facilitate mitigation planning for any open defects near project closure

Partner with 3rd party UAT testing vendors to drive results

Drive identification and implementation of ideas for team and process improvement.

Coordinate efforts of UAT test automation


This position requires a candidate who is highly self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to get up to speed quickly. You will be the subject matter expert for UAT activities with the ability to project manage and take a leadership role in the delivery of UAT.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies rapidly while able to work under limited supervision. Previous Project Management experience desired as well as experience with SAP Order to Cash, SFDC, Jira, HP Quality Center, Software Testing and Testing Automation is preferred. 

Previous Experience

7+ years related experience including 3+ years experience with the SDLC

Experience working with a Global Team


Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge of SAP (Order to Cash) is preferred

Knowledge of SFDC is preferred

Knowledge of Test automation strategies is preferred

Knowledge of Tax & Accounting business and supporting systems is preferred

The successful candidate will also be flexible and have the ability to join and/or lead meetings during off-core business hours as we support a Global business.
